Excellent read, I couldn't put it down. The author did an excellent job creating a character who, although she comes from a sad background that most of us have never faced, is still easy to identify with. Even when she faces horrific things like neglect, drugs, and prostitution, you never forget that Baby is just a child with needs, feelings, and dreams.
