This book had all the right ingredients. The mysteries were believable. Several in fact. The plot line superb. The romance was subtle. The involvement of the rector credible...and subtle yet not overdone. The possibilities of marriage were several. I ended up with as many questions as answers but in a good way. You want to know what happens to these characters after the novel ends. I haven't read any of Klassen's other novels but I want to now. Here are some questions. Is Edward exposed publicly? Why did Judith do it? Does Felix end up wedded by the lady he wants? Does the Earl end up remarried? Do the Keene's reconcile? Who keeps the kids? Does the rector remarry? When you think you have enough answers you end up with more questions.
