Two very different stories in this large print volume. First the lighthearted story of a London lawyer who escapes to the country to work as a housekeeper after she makes a career blunder. Tiny problem is that she has no idea how to cook or clean. But she learns both and finds love along the way.
I didn't think I would like False Testimony, but it was a good legal thriller of a female attorney handling two very different cases, one involving a scumbag charged with killing a priest, and the other a senator under suspicion after one of his aides disappears.
