Our hero for this second book of the series (first is Brotherhood of the Rose, and third is League of Night and Fog) is Drew Maclane, once assassin, now hiding from the world in seclusion. He is drawn out and must use his past professional skills to keep alive and find out who is after him.

Very exciting, non stop action. Not a techno-heavy thriller, as our hero must use his own wits and killing skills to negotiate each obstacle.
