Another good suspenseful read from Pat White!

Bobby Finn is directed to "babysit" a beautiful, pampered American while she tours the UK alone. Is this punishment for poor performance on a job? Or just sheer torture for his heart and soul?

Grace Fairmont, has spent her life making sure everyone around her is happy, allowing her father to protect her and make decisions for her. Not anymore. This journey through the UK will help her understand her mother, who passed away when she was a baby, and maybe give her the inner strength to stand up for herself and find a man that respects her mind.

Apparently I missed a book in this "Blackwell Group" series (The English Detective and the Rookie Agent), but I was still able to enjoy this book. The hero is strong, honorable and desperately wanting to love (and be loved). While the heroine is brave, determined and ... in love with a detective?
