This is a wonderful, realistic, easy-to-use program. I first used this as one of the many, many textbooks in one of my Family Studies classes toward by BS in Family Studies.
I also used it as a parent of a toddler. This book is good because it trains the parent to remember how it feels to be a child on the other end of adult responses. It also helps parents learn some new skills (or refresh themselves) to help with parent child communication. These skills actually help in all communication, but we don't often remember our own children deserve for us as parents to step back and think about our communication styles and their impact on our children.
Ummm . . .
Maybe I will keep this one out and review it myself now that I have a teenager before placing it in the bin with the other posted books :)
