Book Review of To Touch the Stars (Jamestown's American Portraits)

An interesting World War II story, but mediocrely written. It's told in the first person by 18 year-old Elizabeth, who trains for the Army Air Force ferrying program, in which women were able to support the war effort by flying airplanes to deliver them to the military - but (also in the first person) by her younger brother James, which becomes confusing at times. A mystery about sabotage isn't resolved clearly (nor, apparently, was it solved in reality) nor is another one about Elizabeth's mother's death while flying. A historical note with photographs is appended.
