# 2 in the Springwater Seasons series. Savannah has worked in saloons since she was 16 and her father threw her out of his house. She comes to Sweetwater because she is part owner in the saloon. On the way to Sweetwater she helps Dr. Prescot Parrish deliver a baby. She wants to fit in with the women of Sweetwater, but knows that she is not usually accepted by the women of a town because of her profession. She is accepted in the town of Sweetwater and agrees to become Dr. Parrish's wife.
