It includes several short stories and extracts from longer books, all the selections being a dozen pages or more in length. I pulled this from the shelves at the old soldiers and sailors' home after eight weeks with no known readers of it and read one story on the bus that evening. I read another story on the bus as I took it and the other books I'd pulled to the 'free' book truck at the VA hospital. My take on the book is that it includes quite sophisticated stories and is more for the
'English major' than the common man.
