I had just quit a really good job because the owner/my boss became too emotionally abusive.
I was really angry with him. As soon as I saw this book, I knew I had to have it. I have never used it's recommended tactics but whenever my anger and hurt popped up (with anyone) after that, I would go through this book and reconnect with my own power rather than give mine away by feeling helpless to do anything. I am a gentle person; I have never used these tactics on anyone in the ten years I have had the book, but, let me tell you, I sure felt better after just seeing what I could have done. Just knowing I could do it restored me to sanity. Many of the tactics in are so funny to me. I'd give it 10 stars if they were available.
