That was an excellent book! A girl(I am horrible with names) is helping her dad run the family dog kennel when a guy comes in off the street with a dog so malnourished that it is nearly dead. In exchanges for boarding the dog, he offers to help out at the kennel. Through misunderstanding and bias based on social classes they nearly miss the chance to be more than friends.
