I read this in the 80s, when it was brand spanking new, just released. I came home from school one day and my mama brought this to me and said, "I thought you might enjoy that, she is your age honey."....Ill never forget the moment she gave it to me. This one book is what CREATED in me a LOVE of books which will last me a lifetime. She wouldn't have known it from her action, but Ive been a hardcore reader ever since. This book was so good and I related to "Heaven" the character in this novel from a, "I feel sorry for you, girl" perspective. Ive read most all of VC ANDREWS books since then. Heaven is the only one that will always remain in my personal library for the rest of my life. Give a book to a young one, you may be actually changing someones life in a big way forever. Ill always love, "Heaven".. Thanks mama and I hope to see you in heaven one day!
