Good medical/supernatural thriller & book 3 of F. Paul Wilson's Adversary Cycle.

Dr. Alan Bulmer is an excellent physician and all-around great guy whose life is going well, other than some marriage problems due to his work. One day a drunken homeless man grabs Alan and passes to him the gift of healing touch or "dat tay vao." Now Dr. Bulmer can perform miracles, however it seems this gift may cost him everything.

Really enjoyed this book. Lots of suspense, although there really wasn't anything in it I would consider to be horror. I felt the ending was positive and upbeat, a pleasant change from many other books in this genre.
