I'm glad I read this book. Dale was saved (became a Christian) at a young age but wasn't committed to truly serving God until later in life. Her story is a picture of her life before and after her committment. Some of her hardships were caused by her own stubborness and others were just life in this imperfect world. We need God and our fellow believers to get through life on earth.
Experiencing the death of my own child is beyond my imagination and Dale suffered through the loss of three children.
