I enjoyed reading this book, although it is somewhat of a Dan Brown wannabe. Remember that as you read on. The plot is pleasant in that it moves gracefully, though not intensely, from London to Cairo to the Egyptian desert, as a woman researches her father's death and his life's work. Anyone familiar with the Nag Hammadi texts will find little new in the interpretation given here. The romantic secondary plot involving brothers with whom the protagonist interacts has a good twist or two. On the whole, it is worth reading. The author seemed to stick to actual historical facts well where necessary and I give her credit for that.
