A textbook used in California, it looks to be about 2nd grade, with chapters on "Around the Farmyard", "Off to the City", "Friendly Animals", "The Train ride", "Uncle Jim's Ranch", "Back to School". This is a step up from Dick and Jane, everything is nice and wholesome, although I'm glad to see their new teacher is Miss Gay.
