Book Review of Cat's Claw (Calliope Reaper-Jones, Bk 2)

Cat's Claw (Calliope Reaper-Jones, Bk 2)

Callie's back and trying to get life back to normal. Unfortunately, the supernatural world just doesn't want that to happen.

I really enjoyed Cat's Claw. It was a fun, quick read and a fitting sequel to Death's Daughter. Callie did seem to have grown some since her ordeal in the previous book, but not too much. The story had plenty of twists and turns, and the friendly narrative drew me in. New characters were very interesting and likable.

I look forward to the next book. I would like Callie to wonder and possibly explore whether Anubis and Bata's test of her heart had a genuine result or if it was rigged to advance the evil plot. I'm curious to know what happens between Daniel and Callie, and look forward to their possible relationship furthering Callie's growth, hopefully.
