I suppose this appeals to some...I am a sucker for a good vampire novel but I found myself struggling through most of the novel...Diana started to get annoying with her no witchcraft stance...I don't care who you are, our pasts and our ancestors interest us...And if my ancestor was a powerful witch who died during the Salem witch trials...I would want to know just how powerful I was...
Matthew is an interesting character and I love his history...I love the way he is developed and his genuine concern for Diana...
Hmmmm...Reminds me of another vampire love story...Except they are in a frumpy town in England and surrounded by stuffy scholars...Original concept much???
There are a lot of people that are waiting with baited breath for the second installment...One of those people would not be me...Sure, I'll read it...But I'll grab a copy from the library...Sorry, but I just am not inspired and enamoured...
