Contains - The famous Christmas story - A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens. Also has a story by Abbie Farwell Brown The Christmas Angel, written in the late 19th century. We know The Christmas Carol is wonderful. The added story, The Christmas Angel, which I had not even heard of before, is every bit as wonderful. It's about an old lady who has had too many disappointments in her life and in a fit of depression begins to throw her old toys, saved from childhood, out into the street. Each toy brings a different response, and then she finds that other responses have also happened and also a little girl who changes her whole life.
