Hero is distressed that his wife has run off with his best friend to Italy shortly after their marriage and divorces her in huge public scandal. She returns five years later with child in tow... things are not, of course, as they initially appeared. I won't tell more, but ... I'd buy it again - which is my personal standard for romance novels.
