Ive got to admit I was pleasantly surprised when picking up this book. I totally enjoyed it, from page 1 to the last page, (and that was only a few hours from when I started it) which totally sucks cause this one just released and the next in the series, Betrayal wont be out until March 2011 but we are supposed to get two in the series next year. WooHoo!. I loved Emma, she was snarky, independent, compassionate, and needy all at the same time. Her independence and inability to sit on the sidelines is going to make her a kick-ass ghostkeeper as she matures. She is a great 3 dimensional character as were all the secondary characters, too. I love a great mystery. Throw in some romance, sprinkle in some ghosts and you have a recipe for a winning series. Congratulations Lee, you have a Blue Ribbon winner here!
