This could have been a great story if the author would have left out her personal issues as well as so much history of her Iowa town and had just focused on the cat. As a cat lover, as well as a foster & rescue for cats, I had high hopes for this book. It was just okay. Dewey is an amazing cat. Too bad the writer couldn't just go with that and leave the boring out of it.
