This is just an "alright" book. It DOES have good information about our America and I think the reason I was somewhat disappointed in it was because I wanted MORE. It is geared more for a second grader to be reading themselves and so doesn't include a LOT of information. (The teacher would be filling in here.) I LIKE A Beka material because of their stance on information being given and how they incorporate God into their subjects!!! (That's why I requested this book! That's what I was looking for in our home schooling.) I just wanted more information. This is a very simply written book and may be just what another person is looking for.
