My first Sue Henry book. The location is Grand Junction, Colorado where Maxie and her dog, Stretch, drive to help out an old friend. A bit too much detail of everything Maxie sees, but her characters are well-defined and I liked Maxie's spirit and courage. I will definitely read another one!
