Book Review of Leaving Pipe Shop: Memories of Kin

I read this for a class -- wouldn't have picked it up otherwise, but found it to be a very interesting book. There are one or two stray marks toward the beginning of the book; but after a few chapters, I forgot I was reading for a class. (That's a good thing.) It is a compelling account of the author's experiences growing up in a working class Alabama family in the 1950's.
