Gus the ghost lives in the summer vacation house of the Scott family. He gets along with the family just fine.
However, during the winter months Gus gets lonely...until Mouse moves in. Things go quite well until the Scott family returns for the summer.
Mouse causes all kinds of problems trying to scare away the Scott family. Finally, Gus puts his foot down and puts a stop to the nonsense.
A fun read for kids of any age. (This was and still is one of my childhood favorites.)
