Aysha has been in love with Carlo since she was a young girl, and she's willing to marry him even though she knows that he doesn't love her the way she loves him. Two weeks before the wedding she's given incriminating photos that suggest that Carlo has a mistress, and she must decide quickly if she can go through with the wedding. This story is well written, and Carlo's perspective adds depth. He is a wonderful personality, and while she might not see his feelings the reader can. Aysha's not wishy-washy although she is confused. She is a strong woman in her own right, successful in her professional and personal life with solid friendships with women that are interesting characters. I liked that her family and friends were so developed, and that Carlo had such respect for that. What a great ending! While this is not the usual Harlequin Presents, it made me want to read more from this author.
