Edgar, the next lion king to be wanted to be a good king but is still a cub. While his needs and wants appear to be selfish, he just needs to be taught what it takes to be a good king.
I loved this book because the illustrations really make the book, they are big and colorful. The whole story is written in verse and rhyme and there is a strong element of positive male influence. Refreshing!
