When Miles's best friend and cousin kills herself, Miles turns to her three loves in life: smoking, food, and drugs. Miles always felt like Laura got everything in life including looks, popularity, and the hot boyfriend. Even death was something Miles had pondered, but could never follow through with as Laura had done.

In this book we follow Miles through the loss of her best friend, see her drifting from current friends, and see her starting new unexpected relationships. We also witness Miles funneling down that spiral, and not sure if she will ever crawl back to the surface. Things get a lot worse for Miles before there is even a glimmer of hope that life will get better.

Rachel Cohn held nothing back in this book, and the result is a very intense and sometimes overwhelming sadness for the characters involved. It was one of those books that when it was done my heart hurt. I wasn't shocked to read about these teens having drugs and a drug problem. I was less shocked that the parents had no clue. It was portrayed pretty much how things are in real life. The parents are blind to their children's problems, and it takes tragedy in one family to open the eyes of another.

You Know Where to Find Me is a good book if you're into Young Adult literature. Be prepared for possible tears, and reading it in one sitting.
