I picked up this book because I am interested in healing, spirituality, energy work, etc etc. The content appealed to me because the language seemed generic enough: soul, blessing, and divine.

However, after reading the first 20 pages or so, I immediately felt creeped out. It felt very cult like to me for some reason. The next day I returned the book. I haven't had a reaction like that to a book in some time.

I thought the book would be empowering, but it seemed to rely upon you being a servant. I understand humility and giving yourself over to Source, the divine, higher power, etc. But this book struck me as more mindless obedience. If it helps you, that's wonderful. I'm just letting you know it wasn't for me.
