As the little caterpillar eats, the pages get a little smaller, depicting the effect of a caterpillar eating the leaf. Simple text, short book, perfect for very little kiddos. The last page has a pop-up butterfly, sure to surprise and entertain little ones as they have a first lesson on how caterpillars turn into butterflies. Cute!
