Called the "natural successor to Dick Francis", Daniel writes the grittiest, sexiest horse-racing mysteries on the market. Steeplechase jockey Neil Munrow is in the midst of a costly divorce and hoping for custody of his daughter when he finds that suddenly $100,000 has been deposited into his bank account. He sees it as a timely gift. But then the money suddenly disappears from his account and Neil finds himself blackmailed by his mysterious benefactor.
