This book was a "chilling" read. It's hard to believe that this goes on in our modern world. I was surprised to learn that "honor killings" as they are referred to, are not seated in the Muslim religion. Christians and Muslims alike have this practice. It goes back much further in history. I feel very fortunate to live where I do and am free to come and go as I please. A very compelling story.
