All of the "In Death" books have two stories; one is a murder mystery, the other the story (romance)of the main characters as they develop and change within their relationships. This is why I prefer UNABRIDGED versions, as the Abridged tends to tell only the mystery story. "Visions in Death" is one of my favorites in the series, and one of the darker stories. Even as a murder mystery, this one was especially...intense...to me.
