Angel ornaments, cookie cutter ornaments, floral wreath, shaker boxes, knitted doll, cross-stitched stockings, quilted skirt and child's overalls, reindeer sweater, corn shuck creche, table top trees, wooden dolls, doll furniture, tuzzy-muzzy ornaments, lace projects, child's frock, aprons, bears, patchwork pillows, quilts and ornaments, cross-stitch sampler, tea cozy, doll cradle, wooden spool doll furniture, advent calendar, gift boxes, fabric gift basket, cloth Madonna and child, holiday bazaar projects, walnut shell ornaments, stenciled t-shirts, puppets, baby's first Christmas gifts, marionette horses, and so much more. Recipes include cranberry sweet potatoes, chocolate eclair cake, maple divinity, Moravian Christmas cookies, jellies and tarts, wild rice pilaf mix, chutneys, breads, fudge, European-style marzipan, cherry-chocolate cups, taffy, church-window candy (like rocky-road fudge but with colored marshmallows), no-cook mint patties (children can help make these), gingerbread dough, four-grain cookies, root beer popcorn balls, candy cane bread, roast turkey, Portuguese vegetable soup,honey-buttered wine, three kings ring, black forest cherry cake, Lucia buns, poppy seed loaf and so much more. I checked this out from the library so much that I finally picked up a copy from PBS. It's a good book to use to teach children crafts from the past as well as traditional old world crafts.
