I picked up this book to read the story by Shannon Stacey called "Heart of the Storm".

Returning to his hometown to visit his sister and her newborn son, Brody Rollins hoped to get in and out of town without seeing his former fiancee. But a winter storm puts him right in the path of Delaney Westcott when he and his family are cooped up in a shelter for several days. Delaney runs the make-shift shelter. Dealing with the townspeople, getting them food and cots, and making sure everyone is warm is hard enough without seeing Brody every time she turns around. When Brody explains why he left without a word five years ago, Delaney must decide whether to give him another chance.

I thought this story was average. I had a hard time believing Delaney would trust him after only a few days back in town. There was also a search for a missing girl. Brody took part in the search, but nothing was mentioned about her after that. I'm assuming the search continues in the other stories in this anthology. My rating: 3 Stars.
