I love Amish fiction, and was excited to read the debut novel by Vannetta Chapman. She fits very well into the Amish genre, and it is obvious she's done her research. I enjoy stories where the hero and heroine progress from "I can't stand you!" to "I love you!" since the verbal sparring usually brings smiles. It's always interesting to see how the author will bring two resistant people together in the end. I wondered how Annie's RN training and the further education that required would be handled, but I thought it was well-done. I hope this book will become a series, as there were several characters left hanging, and I want to know what happens to them. I'm looking forward to more books by this super new author.
