This was what I would say was biography focusing on Lincoln as writer and how it affected his life. He spends quite a bit of time on several of his speeches. I had the please of meeting the author twice and talking at length with him about Lincoln. He opened my mind to one of the featured "speeches" in the book. In fact it was speech Lincoln wrote but someone else gave in Summer of 1863. This would be a great biography for any one who wants to know more about Lincoln and his writing and speaking style.
