While I found this book interesting--having read most of Dicken's works including The Mystery of Edwin Drood--it kind of lags toward the end and I was ready for it to be over. Be warned that you will most likely need a dictionary; I have a strong vocabulary and there were at least a notepad worth of words that I had to look up! If you like Dickens and Victorian novels with mysterious elements you should enjoy this book but note that you do have to pay attention--not something to read casually.
