Well, at first, I just couldn't get into this book because I couldn't relate to it and therefore I couldn't immerse myself into it. But then I stopped trying to relate and actually enjoyed it to some extent. I did however have a hard time getting around all the the crap that made me think..."yeah, right"...like that would ever happen...things like constant simultaneous orgasms (for a virgin no less)3 to 4 times in a row. Lets get real here. I just started skimming over most of the constant sex scenes because they were just about the same stuff. It is not the content that bothers me with this book...it's just the characters (such as the virginal college grad) just don't feel right. The "oh shucks" personality of Anastasia Steele just doesn't fit the tone of the book. This really wasn't my idea of a great book, but the whole set was given to me so I will read them all. I desperately hope they get better than this one.
