He doesn't want to chance her ruining her sister's marital prospects. When Eliza meets Harry Wright, a known rogue with a reputation for the ladies, she knows she'll be ruined if she is caught alone with him. But every time she turns around, he's right in front of her.
This is a cute short story with appealing characters. Eliza can't wait for her sisters to be married so she can get on with her life. She is willing to help them find a husband so she can finally make her debut. Harry is a guy who speaks what is on his mind. At first he seems to be a wastrel, gambling his way through life. But as time goes by, Eliza learns his true character. My rating: 3.5 Stars.
