The Virgin's Lover is the love story of Queen Elizabeth and Robert Dudley. I expected the story to focus mainly on Elizabeth but surprisingly it was more about Robert. It gave a very detailed look into the small group of intimates in Elizabeth's life and the hardship she had in the war between being a queen and being a woman.
