All I can say is WOW!
Regardless of the way it has been put into the Sci-Fi genre at many booksellers, this stroy really is not about sci-fi at all.
This book explores the fact that what's right and wrong is inevitable colored by people's own background and life training.
After a somewhat slow start (necessary to develop characters), the moral dilemmas really hit you hard.
I like to think that am not overly emotional, but this story brought tears to my eyes many times. It was very hard to put it down and caused me to read a few times until the early morning hours.
Mrs Meyer certainly hit a home run with this one. Way to go!
