Are there negative stars? Let me start by saying I didn't read the book this is supposed to parody; however, I believe books should be able to stand on their own unless they are part of a series.
This book was AWFUL. I keep WAITING for it to have a point or at least be funny. I waited until the end of the book. After the end I just wanted my time back. The main character is annoying and dumber than a box of rocks. He meets all the people before about mid-book, and then you keep waiting for something to come of it. NOPE! You wait at the beginning for him to meet the people and then it's not profound (funny or otherwise) nor does it have anything to do with the story. The author's random interjections all over the book were not only pointless drivel to fill pages but irritatingly asinine.
HATED THIS BOOK. I want my time and my credit back. At least I didn't buy it at cover price!
