This books starts off strong with some new and intriguing information about our hidden brain. I think towards the end it was less informative, and less science based.
A great deal was spent on racial bias. Obama's campaign and racism were explained. I didnt follow that campaign much, I never do, but I actually felt terrible about some of the things reported in the book that happened to Obama during the election due to the color of his skin. I never tell anyone who I voted for, not even family, but to think people voted consciously or unconsciously because someone was black bothered me as much as someone voting for a black person to prove they were not racist. Maybe I got more bored with the later chapter cause it dealt with politics and I am not too interested in how we vote. I was very interested in WHY we vote.
The book is worth reading because it covers so many topics about our hidden brain. I even took a test on the web that the book recommended. and Yes I was moderately bias towards... whatever the topic was. You go find out if you are too.
