The Rising of the Moon was quite a treat! Looking for something to read on a snowy day, I pulled this little jewel from my private collection. A murder is committed in a quaint English village -- the people say it's another Jack the Ripper! Two young brothers believe they saw the murderer and are determined to hunt for clues to help the local constabulary capture him; however, they are shocked when their efforts point to a family member and have to find a way to lead the police in another direction. The brothers find help and friendship in an "old woman", who turns out to be a psychologist working for Scotland Yard. A light mystery with enough twists and turns to keep the reader engaged -- and riddled with humor as the sleuthing youngsters attempt to shield family and friends from becoming potential victims -- or suspects.

The book is fast-paced and totally enjoyable! You'll not regret reading it!

Happy reading!
