Anthea Cohens books were written mostly in the 1980s. I read very many, all I could ever get my hands on, of them. They are about a nurse, Sister Carmichael "who dispensed both medicine...and justice". I believe that Angel Without Mercy was Cohens first novel. I enjoyed Angel of Vengeance very much. I would describe this as a British crime drama of medical nature.
