In the past decade, Catherine had found herself in many roles: rebellious teenager, society bride, rich man's daughter, and now penniless celebrity. With her marriage over and her fortune gone, Catherine had no choice but to return to the Canadian sheep ranch here grandfather had left her. The wilderness reminded her of childhood summers spent helping her grandfather, and teen years spent sneaking off with a certain guy from a nearby cattle ranch.
With his wild, dar hair and sexy hazel eyes, Cal had stolen Catherine's young heart away. But Catherine's father had intervened and Cal had gone off without a word. Happiness had slipped through her fingers.
Catherine was determined to get the sheep ranch back together. But every time she saw Cal, the past came rushing back. She remembered it all-the heat of this palm against her flesh, the fire of his lips igniting hers, the sound of his rapsy voice at her ear. She couldn't survive another heartbreak from Cal, but how could she stop the thundering echoes driving her right back into her arms?
