If you're a strict follower of a particular parenting plan (attachment, Babywise, etc) you probably won't like this book. Her basic philosphy is follow your intuition and use common sense and wing it a bit. I thought it was funny, realistic and a refreshing change to the "You must follow this exactly" school of thought. The language is a bit strong so if that bothers you steer clear. Overall would recommend this book.
