Very nice story. Amusing and touching. Suffering from a difficult and unloving childhood, with an unfulfilled need to know his rock star father loved him, Jack, who now has a teenage son of his own, has become agoraphobic and increasingly hides from the world outside, while trying to maintain a healthy relationship with his son. Events begin to spin out of his control, as the only home he has ever known is being forcibly sold out from under him. He is an entertaining character, all the characters are pretty quirky. It's a fairly short read with quite a few laughs along the way. It wraps up nicely and leaves your spirits lifted.
